Jakie projekty u nas tworzysz?

Pracujemy przy dużych i długofalowych projektach. Branża travel and tourism (hotelowa lub linie lotnicze, zależnie od preferencji osoby co do tego, które oprogramowanie woli tworzyć), klienci w znamienitej większości duże podmioty zagraniczne (np. linie lotnicze Europejskie i z nad Zatoki Perskiej, tour operatorzy z Niemiec), oprogramowanie też zaawansowane, robione kompleksowo (logika, silniki, serwery, bazy, backend, interfejs) najczęściej szyte na miarę lub przynajmniej customizowane, więc stagnacja nie grozi.

Jak pracujesz?

Całość projektu i developmentu robią zespoły 4-5 osobowe (fajni ludzie!). Metodyka to agile (Scrum, acz nie zawsze jest ortodoksyjny :P), często nawet eXtreme Programming. Sprinty 2-lub 3 tygodniowe zależnie od projektu. Wszystkie najważniejsze best practices są kultywowane (estymacja, planning, codzienne standupy, demo i retrospekcja) a wokół samego kodu - pilnujemy code review i TDD (robimy U-testy, testy wydajnościowe, a osobny zespół testuje regresyjnie, manualnie, trochę automatyzuje). Każdy zespół ma Team Leadera (też programuje) a ponieważ budujemy teraz nowy zespół, więc jest pole do popisu dla Ciebie, jeśli masz takie preferencje i/lub kompetencje.

W jakich technologiach?

Aplikacje są przede wszystkim webowe, na życzenie klienta również jesteśmy w stanie dodać też wersje mobilne (Android, iOS, Windows). Język główny, który byśmy Ci proponowali to oczywiście Ruby (i framework Rails, ale też Padrino itp.), dodatkowo smaczek pracy u nas, to możliwość pobawienia się też różnymi innymi językami, czasem nawet niszowymi - dla tych, co lubią taką gimnastykę umysłową. Dotykasz również front-endu (staramy się być developerami full stack) — JavaScript, HTML, CSS (ale nie chodzi tu o działkę UX Design). Nie będę tutaj wymieniać litanii technologii, bo jest u nas tego naprawdę bardzo szeroki przekrój, duże możliwości proponowania nowości, innych rozwiązań, innych technologii. Korzystamy na potęgę z opensource i ostatnio pracujemy też nad wyprodukowaniem własnych rozwiązań, które dorzucimy na GitHub. Najlepiej sprawdzają się u nas bazy noSQL i te są najczęstsze. Developerzy mają daleko posunięte kompetencje i dostępy do poziomu baz oraz, oczywiście pełne wsparcie specjalistów od baz danych oraz administratorów. Zarówno programiści średniego jak i wysokiego levelu mają środowisko do rozwoju i nauki nowych rzeczy. Dodatkowo śledzimy konferencje branżowe, szkolenia i wymieniamy się wiedzą na spotkaniach. W przygotowaniu jest też blog technologiczny o tej samej nazwie, na wszystko to możesz mieć istotny wpływ dołączając do Rubycom.

Przekraczając swój Rubycom będziesz:

O nas:
Obecna ekipa jest mocno seniorska. Wszyscy pracujemy remote i to dobrze funkcjonuje. Zależy nam jednak na tym żeby się regularnie spotykać, integrować, (tj. co-workować, szkolić, gadać o wszystkim i niczym, albo wydostać się z escape roomów ). Przykładowo: Ostatnie spotkanie (3-dniowe) było 2 tygodnie temu w Poznaniu, niebawem spotykamy się, we Wrocławiu. Płacimy do 17k na B2B (+VAT).

O kliencie:
Bardzo przyjemny, ugodowy, zorganizowany i co najważniejsze: wie czego chce! Ekipa u klienta (Berlin) na miejscu liczy 10+ osób, z tego 3 developerów. Od nas jest tam dwóch.

O projekcie:
W ramach rozszerzenia funkcjonalności wewnętrznego projektu który tworzymy dla klienta (task manager dla wewnętrznych potrzeb klienta) trzeba zaprojektować/zakodować komunikator/klienta e-mail. Do tego trzeba m.in stworzyć sensownie całą architekturę itd. itp.
Na tę chwilę, w backendzie używane jest RoR, w frontendzie vue.js.
* Jeśli nie znasz vue.js-a to możesz się go w ramach projektu nauczyć.
* Jeśli znasz już np. React-a to z pewnością się go szybko nauczysz.
* Jeśli natomiast nie cierpisz frontendu - możesz go robić mniej. Wszystko do dogadania.

Bardzo mocna znajomość RoR to jednak podstawa.

Q: Jak to u Was jest - jak jestem na B2B i jak projekt się kończy/są problemy z klientem, to muszę czekać 3 miesiące na kolejny projekt?
A: Absolutnie - nie! Zadbamy o to żeby była ciągłość w projektach, nikogo nie zmuszamy do „urlopu”.

Q: Dowiedziałem się że skupiacie się na regionie DACH. Jest niemiecki wymagany w projektach?
A: Nie, nie przejmuj się. Większość projektów jest po angielsku. Ale niemiecki jest u nas zawsze bardzo mile widziany, w niektórych projektach (rzadko) wymagane. Więc jak znasz dobrze niemiecki pasujesz do nas jak “Topf auf den Deckel”.

Q: Muszę w ramach projektu wyjechać?
A: Generalnie … nie. Zależy od projektu. Standardowy on-boarding zazwyczaj bardzo dużo daje tak samo jak regularne spotkania z klientem.

Q: Boje się że jak będę pracował remote to nie będę miał kontaktu z ludźmi a ja lubię być wśród ludzi, ale nie chcę pracować cały dzień w kawiarnii. Macie na to jakieś rozwiązanie?
A: Fajnym rozwiązaniem są coworkingi. Jeśli chcesz bez problemu sfinansujemy Ci karnet np. w Business Linku, który ma siedziby w całej Polsce.

Q: Pracuję w SH X/Y/Z, jest mi wygodnie i mamy w biurze świeże owoce. Dlaczego miałbym z Wami współpracować?
A: Jesteśmy dynamiczną ekipą w rozwoju, będziesz miał duży wpływ na rozwój/strukturę firmy, ponadto nie narzucamy Ci (prawie) nic.
